On any system, it is wise to change your password often. It is always a bad idea to use the same password on any two systems. It is a worse idea yet to use a common word for your password, such as your real name or handle. The PW command is provided so that you can safely and securely change your password whenever you desire to.
CNet will keep track of 'bad logon attempts' to your account. Whenever someone attempts to signon under your account but uses the wrong password, a counter will be incremented in your account. The next time you successfully logon, CNet will display this counter to you, thereby informing you of a possible hacker attempting to guess your password. The message will look something like:
WARNING: 8 incorrent logon attempt(s) have been made to your account.
